What is the purpose of this Data Protection Policy?
The purpose of this document is to provide you with information on how we use our customers’ data for our business activities, and your rights relating to the use of such data. You will find below a table providing a global view of the categories of our customers’ personal data that we use, a description of the use as well as our interest in processing either data other than those of our customers in person (for example, data of contact persons with companies that are our customers) or which are not justified by the performance of our legal obligations or the strict execution of contracts with our customers.

We believe that we have a legitimate interest in providing this management and follow-up. If data processed in this context relate to criminal convictions and offenses, we limit this treatment to what is permitted under Belgian law for the management of our own litigation. |

Who are the categories of people who are likely to know the data of our customers?Our customers’ data are used for the management of our activity and are not communicated to third parties outside of what is necessary for this management. When we use external service providers (for example, an external expert or transport companies), your data may be communicated to them. In this case, they will only be used for the purpose of carrying out the mission assigned to them. We also use companies for services provided on our behalf for the purpose of processing data (“subcontractors” within the meaning of the Personal Data Protection Regulation) for management, accounting, legal and IT services. Are our customers’ data transferred outside of the European Union?
Our servers hosting the data of our customers are located in Europe. However, the use of e-mail as a means of communication does not make it possible to exclude data from being transferred outside of the European territory (some addresses used by our interlocutors are provided by companies located and operating outside of that territory, mainly in the United States, which are not systematically subject to the same obligations in terms of data protection). These communications are, however, limited to what is necessary for the execution of the contracts concluded with our customers. When this address is used by a person who has not concluded a contract with us, we consider that the person who uses or who provides us with this contact address agrees to this transfer inherent in the use of this address.
What are your rights?
The data protection regulations grant you rights which we summarize below but which may be subject to limitations or conditions:
- The right to request information about the processing of your data,
- The right to request access to your data (obtain a copy),
- The right to solicit the correction of these (for example, if you consider them inaccurate or out of date) or the deletion of them (for example, because the data are no longer relevant)
- The right to oppose the processing of your data in certain cases, especially when the processing involves communications sent for prospecting purposes. That’s why, for each of the uses of your data that falls into this category, you can unsubscribe for the future.
- The right to obtain the limitation of the processing of your data in certain hypotheses, for example when you dispute their accuracy and we must carry out a verification which takes time. In this case the processing of your data may be limited pending a verification of accuracy.
